L’Immacolata Concezione nel Missale Romanum del 1662: la sua fortuna in Italia meridionale
The essay adds new considerations on the fortunes of the Missale romanum of 1662 among artists working in Southern Italy in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The essay focuses on the territory of Campania. It intends to understand the fame of the inventions of the artists active in the court of Pope Alessandro VII, and especially Pietro da Cortona who coordinated the publishing project.
